Ava Lindberg is president of SunResearch, a qualitative research practice in New York City. Lindberg specializes in breakthrough qualitative methodologies such as authentic ethnography, archetypal focus groups, ideation sessions, brand personality development, concept development, and vision sessions. She is an academically trained cultural anthropologist from Columbia University, with advanced certification in creative ideation from Synectics, Creative Problem Solving, Neurolinguistic Programming, DreamChange, and 8Dreams
Her qualitative experience in foods, snacking, beverages, personal care, wireless communications, OTC pharmaceuticals, and financial services is with a large range of Fortune 500 and 1000 clients in branding, product, and creative campaigns.
Lindberg conducts archetypal training workshops for brand development, lectures at Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons Graduate School of Design and Technology in New York City, and is a regular speaker at the Qualitative Research Consultants Association annual and regional meetings.
Lindberg speaks frequently at U.S., Canadian, and international research and creative conferences. In October 2012, she led a research roundtable called International Intrigue at the 2012 Qualitative Research Association Conference in Montreal. She gave a Q-Cast webinar, Facilitating Consciously, in September 2012, and spoke in Chicago and Rome, Italy, in September 2012, on creating global brand missions through archetypes in a jointly-led workshop called Tale of the Script: A Global Qualitative Adventure.
